Sunaina Ghimire Pandey will be elected unopposed as the president of Computer Association Nepal (CAN Federation). She will be elected unopposed after Pandey's nomination was registered for the post of president during the registration period for the selection of the new working committee until 3 pm on Wednesday.
Although Pandey is unopposed, the formal announcement will be made on Poush 13. The 31st Annual General Meeting and 15th General Convention of CAN Federation are being held on Poush 13.
The new leadership of the federation will also be elected from the said general convention, in which CAN Federation is getting Pandey as the first female president.
Elections will be held for other posts except the president. According to the structure of CAN, for office bearers, they must first be elected as members. Only then can they participate in the elections for other posts.
