A new working committee has been elected under the chairmanship of Ranjit Paudar in Computer Assoc. Nepal Federation (CAN Federation). The 14th Congress of the Federation on Saturday elected a 43-member working committee.
Under this, the president and some faculty members were unanimously elected and some were voted on. All elected members took oath on Saturday.
Speaking to Tekpana after the oath, the newly elected president Paudar said that the new working committee will work with collective spirit. "This time, most of the member positions have been unanimously approved. Now we will select the office bearers by consensus,'' he said.
He says that he should give priority only to the work that can be done and ignore the work that cannot be done. "We will move forward by making a common squeeze. We will not spend time on work that cannot be done," he said.
Admitting that the work of the previous working committee was not satisfactory during the three-year tenure, he said, "Two years out of the three years, the work could not be done because of the Covid epidemic. This is the reason why some people seem to be lagging behind. The new working committee moves forward with a clear plan to complete the remaining tasks as a single unit
