Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Bam Bahadur Mishra formally inaugurated the educational program. Addressing the program, Mishra expressed happiness over the launch of the new educational program. Stating that Nepal Rastra Bank has also felt the lack of skilled manpower in the field of cyber security, Mishra expressed happiness that British College is going to conduct such courses. Expressing the bitter reality of having to pay huge sums of money to bring manpower from Singapore to investigate the ATM hack in Nepal, Mishra expressed confidence that British College would build manpower to contribute to the sector. He also said that there is no need to go abroad to study cyber security.

Addressing the program, Rajan Kandel, Founder and CEO of the College, said that there is a huge demand in the field of cyber security and digital forensics as Nepal is rapidly moving towards digital economy. The college will start offering BSc (Hans) Cyber ​​Security and Digital Forensics program from January 2022.
