Bhuvan KC as Brand Ambassador of Shepherd College

Actor/Filmmaker and Director Bhuvan KC has been appointed as the Special Goodwill Ambassador of Shepherd College of Media Technology. Artist KC and managing director Tarun Pratap Shah signed the agreement at a program held at the college in Shantinagar. Casey has been a Shepherd College Goodwill Ambassador for four years. As a goodwill ambassador, the artist will participate in various promotional programs of KC College. Also, it has been agreed that he will promote the college through his social media. Apart from this, it has been agreed to promote Shepherd College through a film made under the banner of KC's film production company Super Kajal Films throughout the contract period.

During the contract signing and exchange program, artist KC expressed his happiness that Shepherd College has started teaching film studies while sharing his experience of not being able to study films formally when he was an artist. I am happy to be associated with the education sector. I will share my experiences with students. I am sure that this will make them interested in the film. We should give priority to studies related to film. This will help in the development of Nepali film industry," he said.

Tarun Pratap Shah, Managing Director of Shepherd College, while giving information about the courses of the college, expressed his belief that film education will be better in collaboration with actor KC. He said, "Since this year, we have added the subject of film in the third semester of Masters in Media Technology." Collaboration with Bhuvan KC will make teaching of this subject more effective. Informing that Shepherd College has started studying cinema for the first time in Nepal at the postgraduate level, he informed that with the development of technology, contemporary subjects will be added according to the interest of the students.

 Established in 2002, Shepherd College is Nepal's first and only media technology college. Kavita Sharma, principal of the college, said that Shepherd College is an excellent destination for students who want to make a career in the film industry. While Bhuvan was the chairman of the KC Film Development Board, she said that there were many discussions during the preparation of the syllabus.

Bhuvan KC is a very popular actor in Nepali movies. KC, who started his career with the movie 'Juni', has acted in more than 100 movies. Currently, he is also a producer and director. He has also headed the Film Development Board.
