Chinese company Huawei has unveiled its first desktop computer running its own operating system HarmonyOS. The company has presented it as a '100 percent domestically made' device.
The Shenzhen-based company on Thursday unveiled the Qinyun HM650 series of desktop computers for enterprise and government users. These computers are powered by Huawei's self-developed Kirin X90 processor, which was first used in Huawei's consumer-oriented laptops and tablets last year.
Huawei said that the new desktop lineup uses components made entirely in China, from the processor to the memory module. According to the company's website, this computer also becomes the first desktop computer in China to receive '100 percent domestic' certification.
