The Supreme Court has launched a system of online registration and special types of applications for court marriage in Nepal. Now possible to file applications for court marriage from the Supreme Court website. In addition to applications for court marriage, 10 types of special applications including applications for certification of guardianship, applications for judicial declaration of death, permission to adopt a son or daughter, applications for appointment of Guthi directors, and applications for registration of natural person's marriage have now been started online, informed Supreme Court spokesperson and Co-Registrar Achyut Kuinkel.
According to him, online registration has started in all 77 district courts of the country. He said that this system has been started as the Supreme Court's fifth five-year strategic plan, which started last Shrawan, includes a plan to advance digital technology in judicial work.
How to Apply court Marriage from Online ?
For this, first go to the Supreme Court website. Go to 'Online Case Registration' at the top and click on it and sign up. Or you can apply directly from here.
After the signup process is complete, you can log in with your username and password. Then, go to 'Case Management' and select the desired district and the type of application to be registered.
After filling in the specified details there, the application will reach the system of the selected district court. Then, the court will check whether the registration of the application is correct or not and inform you if additional documents need to be sent.
The service fee for the application submitted online is Rs. 500. The specified amount can be paid later by saving the application or it can be paid immediately through the online payment system. For this, arrangements have been made to pay through Connect IPS and mobile wallet (Nepal Pay). Then, you can physically appear at the court at the time specified
