WhatsApp has announced a new feature for the convenience of its users. The name of the feature is contact manager. With its help, the user can easily manage the contact numbers i.e. contacts on his phone.
Now phone numbers can be saved directly in WhatsApp. Until now, WhatsApp only had access to previously saved numbers on the phone. Under this long-awaited new feature of WhatsApp, now users will be able to easily save phone numbers in the messaging app.
Previously, users could only add the contact numbers in the phonebook to WhatsApp, and when the phone number was deleted from the phonebook, it would also disappear from WhatsApp.
In this case, when the user's smartphone is lost or a new one is used instead of a complete smartphone, the WhatsApp contacts should also be shared. When contacts were not shared, only numbers were visible on WhatsApp instead of names. However, now with the new update, phone numbers saved in WhatsApp will automatically come to the second device.
According to the company, this feature of WhatsApp contacts will be useful for those people who share their phone with other people or run more than one WhatsApp account. In this, users can keep their personal and business accounts separately.
This latest feature of WhatsApp will also be available on WhatsApp Web and Windows App. So now phone numbers can be saved on WhatsApp not only on mobile phones but also on laptops and desktops.
