Apple introduces Siri AI New feature : Apple Intelligence and Siri

Apple has rebranded its old virtual assistant. The company has introduced a new version of Siri in collaboration with Google's Gemini model through the World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC 2026). With this, the new Siri can now talk like a chatbot. It can understand what is on the user's screen, navigate within different apps and save events to the calendar by recognizing photos.

In which you can view the history of old conversations. This technology will initially come in English and will not be available there immediately due to the European Union's Digital Markets Act and China's regulatory laws.

Apple has integrated AI into every corner of its operating systems iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS 27 (which is named Golden Gate) through Apple Intelligence. Similarly, the Safari browser will now automatically organize tabs by topic and will inform you through the Notify Me feature when the price of goods on websites drops. Similarly, the new Password app will help you change weak passwords by visiting websites yourself with the help of an AI agent.

Similarly, a spatial reframing feature has been added to the Photos app. This allows you to change the camera angle even after taking a photo with the help of 3D AI. In addition, the Clean Up and Extend tools have made photo editing more realistic. Photorealistic photos can now be generated from the Image Playground and they will have a SynthID watermark.

In Messages and Mail, AI will automatically write smart replies by understanding the user's writing style. The Call Context feature will search for the reservation number from the email when calling a company and display it on the screen. The Home app has a feature to summarize CCTV camera clips through AI.

Apple's AI will work on-device and through private cloud computing. In which user data will not be seen by Apple or third parties and will be destroyed immediately after processing. Heavy AI tasks will run on Nvidia chips in Google's cloud.

Apple has introduced the Ask to Browse feature for child safety. In which children will have to get parental permission in Safari before opening new websites. A new feature has been added that automatically blurs violent and bloody images in Messages and FaceTime.

A child account has been made mandatory for children under 13. On the health side, the Health app has introduced a feature to track and alert women over 40 to symptoms of menopause.

The device's search index (for Spotlight, Mail, Photos) has been rebuilt to provide instant search results. This new iOS 27 will work faster even on the old iPhone 11 due to improvements in the CPU scheduler.

The Custom EQ setting, which AirPods users have been demanding for a long time, has finally been introduced. watchOS 27 does not support older models. It will only run on the SE 3, Series 10, Series 11, Ultra 2, and Ultra 3. However, there are reports that the beta version will also support the Series 9.
