Banks interest rates has decline for the month of Magh 2080. Most of the banks has reduced the interest with effect from January 2024. Along with this, the interest rate for deposits of all commercial banks has completely fallen to single digits. While most of the banks reduced the interest rate, Everest Bank and NMB Bank kept it constant. Everest Bank has fixed 8 percent for individuals and 6 percent for institutions in January. Earlier, 8 percent was set for individuals and 6 percent for institutions.
NMB Bank has set 9 percent for individuals and 7 percent for institutions. Earlier, the bank had set interest rates of 9 percent for individuals and 7 percent for institutions in January as well.
Laxmi Sunrise Bank has set an interest rate of 6.50 percent for institutions and 8 percent for individuals. Earlier in January, the bank had set interest rates of 7.50 percent for institutions and 9 percent for individuals.
Krishi Bikash Bank has fixed interest rate of 5.260 percent for institutional and 7.260 percent for individuals on fixed deposits. Earlier in January, the bank had set interest rates of 7.012 percent for institutions and 9.012 percent for individuals.
Prabhu Bank has fixed the interest rate of 6.065 percent for institutional and 8.065 percent for individuals. Earlier in January, the bank had fixed 7 percent interest rate for institutional and 8 percent interest rate for individuals.
Nepal Bank has set interest rate of 6.50 percent for institutional and 8 percent for individuals. Earlier in January, the bank had set interest rates of 7.056 percent for institutions and 8.556 percent for individuals.
Kumari Bank has fixed the interest rate of 8.11 percent for individuals and 6.11 percent for institutions. Earlier, the bank had set a minimum interest rate of 9.31 percent for individuals and 7.31 percent for institutions in January.
NIC Asia Bank has fixed the interest rate at 6.065 percent for institutional and 8.065 percent for individuals. Earlier in January, the bank had set interest rates of 6.67 percent for institutional and 8.67 percent for individuals.
Rastriya Banijya Bank has determined the interest rate of 8.07 percent for individuals and 6.07 percent for institutions. Earlier, PUMA had provided 8.61 percent to individuals and 6.61 percent to institutions.
Nabil Bank has set 8.1 percent for individuals and 6.1 percent for institutions. Earlier, the bank had fixed 8.6 percent for individuals and 6.6 percent for institutions.
Prime Bank has set an interest rate of 8.10 percent for individuals and 6.10 percent for institutions. Earlier, the bank had set interest rate of 10 percent for individuals and 8 percent for institutions in January.
Global IME Bank has set an interest rate of 8.10 percent for individuals and 6.10 percent for institutions. Earlier, the bank had fixed the interest rate of 8.6 percent for individuals and 6.6 percent for institutions in January.
