Cyber security awareness program completed in Manmaiju Secondary School

In partnership with Balaju Police Circle and with the support of Nepal Telecom, ICT Journalist Development Forum C.S. In collaboration with I Tech (CSIA Tech) Institute, a one-day public awareness program on cyber security has been completed at Manmaiju School. The program was held on Friday 26th of the year 2080 at Manmaiju Secondary School located in Tarakeshwar Municipality

More than 100 students participated in the cyber security awareness program. In the program, Shyamakrishna Maharjan, Ward President of Tarkeshwar Municipality Ward No. 9, Bharat Adhikari, Police Inspector of Balaju Police Department, Agni Prasad Ghimire of Nepal Telecom, Keshav Bhattarai, Market Manager, E.Dron Ghimire, Trainer, Achyut Ojha, Trainer, Ram Krishna Khanal, Ravina Maharjan, Principal of the school were present in the program. , co-principal Sandeep Sapkota and other school families were present.

Teacher Achyut Ojha shared information about cyber security and cyber crime to the students through visuals. Similarly, Police Inspector Bharat Adhikari of Balaju Police Department gave information about the legal system related to cyber crime and the nature of cyber crime through various scenes with examples. Trainer E Drona Ghimire gave information about cyber crime and social media and how they commit cyber crime. Not only that, he informed the students and other people present about the services and facilities of Nepal Telecom in a simple way. In the same way, coach Ram Krishna Khanal gave information about the state of cyber attack in Nepal in the current state of cyber attacks and informed about the situation of cyber attacks around the world.

Similarly, Tarakeshwar municipality ward no. 9 president Shyam krishna Maharjan, said that it is absolutely necessary to provide this kind of education from the school level, and the ward also promised to cooperate with such programs in the future. Raveena Maharjan, the principal of the school, said that cyber security awareness program is the need of the day and thanked the organizing team for organizing such a program citing the incidents that happened in different places and times as examples. The program was conducted by journalist Sabitri Basnet (Subu).
