The National Super Computing Center has unveiled a supercomputer in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province in South China. According to Lu Yutang, director of the center, the new computer has surpassed Tianhe-2, one of the world's fastest supercomputers, in terms of CPU, computing, network, storage and application capabilities.
According to the center, the operation of Tianhe Xingyi is expected to meet the growing computing demands in the fields of high performance computing, artificial intelligence 9AI0, large model training and big data analysis.
