First you need to open the activity google.com in your web browser. You must be signed in to your account for this. Now click on the Manage My Activity Verification option.
Then click on the Require Extra Verification option and then click on the Save option. Google will now ask you to enter a password to prove that you are. This way your search history can be password protected.
