 Chef   Basnet was honored with the Golden Hat Award at the South Asian International Culinary Art Competition in Kolkata on 1, 2, 3 October-2023 organized by the Royal Bengal Master Chef 2023 organization of West Bengal, India. India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Morocco, America, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Pakistan participated in the 3-day competition. 210 people participated in the competition. 125 types of dishes were made in the competition.
