Most emails are unwanted, with 80 percent of the emails being blocked by security filters. 15.4 percent of emails are spam. 4% of emails are considered a threat and 1% of emails are considered as an advanced threat.
One percent receive emails such as malware, spare phishing and CEO fraud. Harmful emails use various methods to hide malware. Most of the time, harmful links are sent using PDF files. In the second place, hackers are found to be using Excel files. Others are using Word and PowerPoint files.
